Description of Studies; Common sense bible studies recognizing everlasting   bible study facts through guidance from the Holy Spirit.

Description of Purpose;  

       It is my prayer that these studies may help some bible  readers recognize patterns in the bible which reveal the

Lord's desire to lift up all those who realize their need of

Him, and are willing to follow him according to His will.

 

      CAUTION          

                                             

      Every church thinks they are going to heaven for eternity. But JESUS says that only a few will find The Way. He says "Many will call on My Name but not do as I say," Mathew 7:21-23. (New American Bible Translation used throughout). 

      How can we keep from being deceived?

 

           ASK for the Holy Spirit guidance - and follow Him!

      Understand when God works supernaturally to show you He is working in your life. ASK the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see spiritually. ASK Him to give you ears to hear what He teaches you. 

      Finally, ASK the Holy Spirit to give you WISDOM to understand all the Knowledge you learn. Keep ASKing Luke 11:9-13.

 

USE COMMON SENSE TO ANALYZE THE BIBLE

      These Bible study ideas are from a scientist, made with a common sense approach to the bible. 

      Striving to reach a belief in harmony with all of God's Laws in His Spiritual World described in the bible teaching. 

      A scientist must see a design in harmony with all of God's Laws in Physics and God's Laws in Nature - which never change. 

      I hope these ideas can help people think about what the bible means.

 

      BEWARE

      The Bible teaches at the beginning that the devil is a deceiving influence to test us to see if we believe God's teaching (i.e. His Laws).

       Scripture's lesson from this first Bible story about Man in The Fall is that if we disobey God's teaching, or disbelieve God's teaching for someone else's teachings - we will die that day. See Genesis 2:16-17, and 3: 1-6.

      Adam did not die physically that day - he died Spiritually. He could no longer understand spiritual ideas (1Cor 2:14).

The Bible's main focus is on teaching SPIRITUAL truths. 

      After the Fall Jesus taught that man needed to be born again - from ABOVE - where our heavenly Father is. 

Many, like Adam have been born from below where the father of lies is from. 

They need to be born again - from above. See John 3:3 footnote, 8:42-44, 1 Peter 4:6.

 

      HOW TO PROVE GOD

      Accept God's Challenges to prove He is there and listens to you. He will respond to you;

      If you will turn your foot to keep My Sabbath Day holy, I will make you walk on the high places of the earth," Isaiah 58:13-14.

      If you will bring the whole tithe into the church storehouse I will bless you until it overflows," Malachi 3:8-10, and Luke 6:38. Try giving 1/10 of your income to His "church." 

      That is, any church which teaches the Good News that we are free from our bondage to sin by Jesus' shedding of blood for us, and a church which serves the poor and needy.

 

GUIDELINES FOR BIBLE STUDY

      Things to remember that the Law says about itself ( Facts that cannot change).

 

FACT 1    A.S.K. the Lord for the Holy Spirit guidance                              into all Truth (Lk 11:9-13, Jn 16:5-15, Phil 1:9).            

 

FACT 2    God never changes. Malachi 3:6, Hebrews 13:8.

 

FACT 3    God's Law never goes away. Mathew 5:18, Luke                            16:17, Romans 7:1.

 

FACT 4    The Bible definition of Righteousness,  see Exodus                        34:6-7, and Ezekiel 18:4-9.

 

FACT 5    See New Testament - Old Testament                                                         LINKAGE TEXTS.

 

FACT 6    The 'Little horn' from the Roman Church kingdom                      in Daniel 7 times "intended" to change God's times                      and His Laws (spiritually).

 

FACT 7    The Old Testament is the source and root of the New                    Covenant. Exodus 19:5-6, Jeremiah 31:31-34,                                Lk 24:27, Jn 5:46-47, 1Cor 10:1-6, 11, Hebrews 8:8-  12).

                           

  FACT 8    The SONG OF MOSES "is your life."                                            Deuteronomy 32:1-47 and Daniel 4 (example).

 

FACT 9    Jesus came to save the House of Israel.   Ref.;                                Matthew 15:24, 31, Hebrews 8:8, John 4:22.

 

FACT 10   Forgive those who trespass against you to inherit                           eternal life. Mathew 6:14-15 and parable in                                   Mathew 18:21-35.

 

FACT 11    Love your neighbor as yourself - one of God's                                greatest laws. Leviticus 19:18, Mark 12:31.

 

FACT 12    We will be judged by our deeds. John 5:28-29 and 2                      Corinthians 5:1-10.

 

FACT 13    We must have the Love of the TRUTH, or we will                        perish.  2 Thessalonians 2:7-12.

 

FACT 14    We must understand the Law, Psalms, and the                              Prophets to recognize JESUS, our Messiah, Savior,                      and Deliverer and what He did for us! Luke 24:44.

 

FACT 15    We must choose to immerse ourselves in the Holy                          Spirit (allow the Lord to immerse us Mathew 3:11)                      to produce FRUIT of the Spirit - otherwise we                              will have no Eternal Life. John 15:1-8, 16:5-15,                            Galatians 5:22-23.

 

FACT 16     Jesus said He will also immerse us in "fire."                                   Malachi 3:2, 1 Peter 1:13-23, 3:16, 21                                             (immersion),   4:1-2.

 

FACT 17     We must desire the greater gifts of the Spirit than                         speaking in 'tongues.' A.S.K. the Lord. 1                                         Corinthians 12:1-4, 28-31, 1 Cor 14 Ch. 14.

 

FACT 18     Jesus Christ came to save sinners. We must know                         which group we belong in! 1Tim1:15,

 

FACT 19     Jesus said, "If you do not forgive others, your                               Father will not forgive your transgressions (Matt                         6:15).

 

FACT 20     Without Faith it is impossible to please Him (Heb                         11:6) 

                     GOOD NEWS                                                     FACT 21    Jesus Christ died for our sins According to                                    Scripture 1Corinthians 15:3-4, 1John 3:4

 

FACT 22     Jesus Christ is the Atonement to appease God's                             wrath towards our sin. 1 John 2:2

 

FACT 23     Jesus came that we might have life. John 10:10.

 

FACT 24     Jesus fulfilled the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and                       the Psalms, and is the goal of the law for right-                             eousness to everyone who believes, so that we                               might have faith in the Holy Scriptures (Luke                               24:44, Rom 10:4-5). 

 

FACT 25     If we confess our sin, He is faithful and righteous                         to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all                           unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.
